I had never been
a fan of radio, just now.
When I was young
I remember my grandfather asking me to listen to the radio with him and I did
but I always ended up falling asleep. I don’t know why but radio has never been
my thing, I think the only time I get to listen to the radio and concentrate is
whenever I am inside a car and the radio is playing. We do have radios at home and at my
grandparents’ house but I never cared to use them when I was younger. I thought Why would I listen to the AM or FM
If we have CD’s, DVD’s and the Internet.
For me back then Radio is a piece of trash that I don’t care about, it’s
an old fashioned thing for elders. But
that was just me before I entered college and choose mass communication as my
course.
What was I thinking
back then????? I shouldn’t have taken radio for granted. I remember when I was
in first Year College and my professor in Introduction to mass communication
asked me what is my favorite radio station, I panicked because I couldn’t give
an answer and in the end I decided to tell the truth. I told my professor that
I am sorry because I couldn’t give an answer and I am not much of a fan of
radio. That is so embarrassing because
for a masscom student I should have known better I should have at least an idea
about radio stations but sadly I was clueless and I was really disgusted with
myself. On the positive side at least I learned my lesson. I have my own radio
now and I am proud to say that I listen to it every night. Although I’m still trying
to get use to listening to AM radio
because I still think it’s a little boring .
I’m Radio-less
no more and I think I’m more of a responsible masscom student now specially
that I know how important radio is with the path I’ve decided to take.
